From placing my order over the phone, they were incredibly efficient, promising a 10 minute pickup time. While they offered delivery, I opted to walk as I live nearby. The crispy chilli beef came in a mouthwatering sauce. The house special chow mein was a delightful mix prawns, chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables. The egg fried rice was perfectly cooked, and the sweet and sour prawn balls were crispy and tangy. As a pleasant surprise, they included a portion of exceptionally crispy prawn crackers that remained crunchy for hours. I can't wait to return for another delicious meal!

I had the best Chinese food I have ever had at the golden house tonight, the service is excellent and the food is to die for. It took less that 30mins to be delivered. Pipeing hot on delivery and every mouth was perfection I strongly suggest that if you are hungry and are wanting a Chinese, golden house is the place to go.

A family run business that very obviously takes pride in everything they do. The food is amongst the best I have ever had from any takeaway - end of. The dishes aren't full of sugar, too stodgy, or too oily as a large proportion of takeaways can be. Every dish has been tasty and worth ordering. It is thoroughly deserving of an even higher rating in my opinion - but you can't please everyone all of the time.

Best Chinese in the area by a mile. Food is always hot, fresh and incredibly tasty. Free prawn crackers if you spend over £20 and delivery is always speedy no matter the day/time. We wouldn’t use another Chinese takeaway.
